Easy as pie! It used to be all you had to do was work hard in high school. That got you into a good college. Hard work there got you a good job and then you were set for life. At least that was the accepted wisdom. Well, I'm not sure if it ever really worked that way, but one thing's for certain: it sure ain't workin' now.

We are happy to announce the winners of the 2011 AccountingWEB Accounting Student Scholarship. Three students will get tuition help from AccountingWEB. We sincerely hope that our scholarship program helps move students one step closer to their career goals. For those of you on the flip side of college, we have plenty of tips to share this month about studying for the CPA while you work and pursuing other avenues of professional education. Most professionals seem to be perpetual students, taking classes and learning the latest tools that can help us in our jobs.
