September marks the kick-off for many of the features of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, so this is a great time to touch base with clients and remind them of items that might affect them. Whether the law gets repealed, amended, or remains intact, accountants are going to have their hands full as they ultimately will sit on the front line of helping the IRS enforce some of the high-profile issues in Obamacare. This month is only the beginning of a long journey.
