ACT! users are now able to see a complete real-time view of customers' accounting information to which they are granted access from QuickBooks, including customer and vendor transactions. With multiple user levels of security to allow either Read Only or Updating of data, companies stay in control of their sensitive data while allowing more flexibility for their workforce.

Intuit to acquire health care communications company
|

|
Intuit Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Medfusion, a Cary, N.C.-based patient-to-provider communications company. As a result of this acquisition, it is expected that Medfusion solutions can be offered to approximately 75,000 Intuit QuickBooks medical practices.

MyFax joins QuickBooks to improve document management, reduce paper
|

MyFax, an Internet fax service, together with Expensify and Office Drop have announced a new offer to help small businesses organize and reduce paper consumption through the Intuit App Center. QuickBooks customers can try MyFax risk-free to send and receive faxes with an Internet connection through regular e-mail accounts or a secure online server.
