  I was teaching classes at the Indiana CPA Society at a time when QuickBooks was gathering steam. At that time, accountants fought having to learn about QuickBooks and were frustrated with their clients who had tried to install and use QuickBooks on their own. That was 15 years ago. Today, accountants still get frustrated when their clients try to use QuickBooks without guidance, but accountants also realize that they can provide that useful and necessary guidance and produce a nice revenue stream in the process. Many accountants who work with small businesses are finding that QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is worthwhile. This month we look at the information you need if you are considering pursuing QuickBooks certification. In addition, Amy Vetter has rounded up some frequently-asked QuickBooks support questions and provides you with the tools you need to answer those questions.
