Publisher's Note
How many people in your office are like Gene Simmons of KISS? Several, right? Like his music or not, you've got to admit that ole Gene is a shrewd businessman. He wrote the foreword to a book I recently read on an overseas flight. It's called Rock To The Top, written by Dayna Steele. Former radio personality, author, speaker and entrepreneur, Dayna Steele weaved interesting stories about the music business around practical business principles and sound behaviors. A couple of gems: * I'd rather have one person working with me than have three working for me. * No matter who you are or how busy you are, you need to return phone calls and e-mails. Gene Simmons stressed the importance of being on time. Hey, if Gene says it, who's to argue? If you read it, let me know what you think about it.
